Voyages El Questro Wilderness Park
Property Information:
El Questro Wilderness Park is without doubt, one of the world's unique holiday destinations. A working cattle station with a herd of approximately 5,000 head of crossbred Brahman and Shorthorn cattle, El Questro was developed in 1991 to provide a truly Australian holiday experience.
A million acres in size, El Questro is located on the eastern perimeter of the Kimberley region, and extends for approximately 80 kilometres into the heart of the region.
Emma Gorge Resort
Hidden within the fiery red of El Questro's Cockburn Ranges, lies the spectacular Emma Gorge Resort. Conveniently located close to some of El Questro's major attractions only two kilometres off the Gibb River Road, and one hour from Kununurra.
Nestled between palms and pandanus, gravel paths link the Tented Cabins, restaurant, bar, reception and gorge.
A swimming pool and lounge area shaded by native trees and landscaped gardens lies on the banks of Emma Gorge Creek.
Take a short stroll from the base of the gorge past butterfly-filled trees and vines to a huge turquoise waterhole, perfect for swimming, and the ideal setting for a relaxing massage under the permanent droplet waterfalls.
The food is spectacular too. Enjoy tropical fruits for breakfast, barbecued fish and Kimberley beef for lunch and dinner, all served in the open air of the restaurants' spacious verandahs.
With a fully licensed bar, well-stocked shop and laundry facilities, Emma Gorge Resort is an ideal place to stay and explore El Questro and the captivating Kimberley beyond.

Riverside Camping
El Questro has two distinctly different ways to enjoy your camping experience. The first is at a location known as "Black Cockatoo", which is central to the guest showers, bathrooms and the Station Store. Here, you will meet and mix with other outback adventurers, all travelling with their own camping gear.
Alternatively, you can choose from a selection of private sites, all secluded from other campers. These sites are approximately a ten minute drive from the central facilities building, which is available for use at no extra charge. Riverside campsites are along the Pentecost River close to El Questro Station Township.
Which campsite you choose is up to you. Simply decide when you check in at the Station Store upon arrival.
Location Information:
The Kimberley region in far North Western Australia is one of the world's last unspoilt frontiers - an ancient land extending from Broome in the South West to Kununurra and Wyndham near the Northern Territory border.
The landscape is diverse to say the least - from rugged ranges and broad tidal flats, to rainforest pockets, gorges and waterfalls. The Kimberley is a very special place, where you'll feel a sense of discovery at every turn.
Animal, fish and bird life congregate in the rivers and waterholes, of which El Questro boasts four major river systems - from fresh water springs to the lazy salt water estuaries in the northern part of the property.
